Grief Is the Natural Response to the Death of a Significant Person in Someone's Life.
Grief is the natural reaction to loss. Grief is both a universal and a personal experience. Although it is a unique and very individual journey that may feel isolating, even within the same family, it will change in intensity over time and with support.
We have learned from experience that grief has no predictable timetable or schedule, no sequential stages or rules, no cure or easy resolution and many different, yet ‘normal’ feelings. With the support of compassionate and caring people, the challenges of grief may be shared and explored and a type of healing will occur.
